Nawazuddin Siddiqui was born in a small town of Muzaffarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh. His father is a farmer and he has 9 siblings seven brothers and two sisters. He graduated in science from Gurukul Kangri University in Haridwar.
Nawaz worked as a chemist in a petrochemical company. He also graduated from National school of drama, In Delhi 1996. After graduating from NSD he shifted to Mumbai. In 2004, Which was worst year of his struggle he was unable to pay any rent. He asked his college senior if he could stay with him. The Senior allowed him to share his apartment in Goregaon.
